Eligibility Criteria
A student who has successfully completed the examination of HSC or an equivalent from a recognized board of education is eligible for the examination. Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility, candidates should also have passed B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university. They must have passed the examination of HSC in the science stream with physics, chemistry, biology, and English subjects. Candidates who belong to the General category should make sure to obtain more than 50% marks and 45% marks in case of reserved category in the HSC exams. Their age should be 17 years and not more than 22 years as of 31 December 2024. The date of birth must be same as mentioned in the Secondary Education Board (Class X Certificate).
For candidates having a BSc degree with two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, their upper age limit must not be over 25 years of age as of 31 Dec 2024 and they need to clear the rest of the subjects in the 12th or equivalent examination. Meanwhile, work experience of one year after basic B.Sc. Nursing course is also required by the authorities.

After satisfying the eligibility requirements, candidates have to go to the other stage which is the application procedure. Contenders can get the application form through the official portal of the Army College of Nursing Guwahati. After obtaining, aspirants should read the guidelines mentioned in the brochure and start the application form filling as per the same. Contenders will also be asked to upload some relevant documents in the application form, they must complete this step and submit the application form after that. It should be noted that only female category students can participate in this course. Male students won’t be allowed to apply for this course and no correction facility will be provided after submission of the form.

Exam Pattern
The authority will organize an OAT (Online Admission Test), which means the test will take place in online mode. Participants will be allotted a total of 2 hours duration to solve the paper. There will be an overall of 120 Multiple Choice Question types also known as objective questions. The exam will consist of five subjects (namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Awareness, and English). Every right answer will carry one mark while the wrong response will lead to a loss of 0.25 marks.

Result
Official authorities of the Army College of Nursing will publish the entrance exam outcome only after it is held. Besides the result, the authorities will also design a selection list of the candidates. The merit list will be prepared on the premises of the marks secured by them in the test only. The outcome and the selection list will be uploaded on the main web portal of the university for the participant’s reference. After the result is announced completely, the authorities of the institution will send a counseling letter cum admission to the aspirants.
