Bihar Paramedical Entrance Exam 2024: Bihar Paramedical Exam which is also known as Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) is led by the BCECE (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board). Eligibility Norms
- A candidate who has earned a 12th-grade diploma from a Bihar-accredited school is eligible to appear for admission.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects must have passing scores in the 12th grade.
- The minimum and maximum age for the appliers are 17 and 32 years respectively.
- For GNM and ANM courses, the maximum age of the candidates is 35 years.
- Candidates who are presently enrolled in 12th grade may apply too.
- Parents of the applicants must be permanent residents of Bihar with a domicile. They must be officially recognized as former Bihar government workers or Bihar refugees with transferrable positions in Bihar or Jharkhand state.
- Candidates whose parents are the employees of the Government of India who are stationed in Bihar or Central Government/ PSU-run industries /institutions established in Bihar state are eligible.
Bihar Paramedical Entrance Exam 2024 Registration Procedure
To register for the entrance examination, you need to access the authorized portal of BCECE i.e. www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. From there you will be able to download the application form and submit it in online mode. Then register yourself with your working mobile number and email ID. After that, an email/ SMS will be sent to you which contains your User ID and password. Next, you have to revisit the authorized web page and activate your account with the code or information received in your email/ SMS. Once you have signed in, start providing your details with education, etc. Furthermore, applicants will have to attach their recent colored photograph with a scanned signature in English or Hindi.
Subsequently, review your application form again to check whether all the information filled is correct or not. Confirm the submission of the application form and submit it after which you will be redirected to the application fees payment page. You can choose the payment method as per your convenience i.e. offline or online. The offline method of payment is NEFT challan whereas the online mode includes debit card, credit card and internet banking. Later on, you should download the aptly filled application and preserve the same for further process.
Application fees
For Physics, Biology (paramedical), and Chemistry Group – General and EBC fees is Rs. 1000 and fees for SC/ ST are Rs. 500.
Exam Pattern
The entrance exam for the paramedical course will take place in an Offline mode i.e. Pen and Paper based. The medium of language is Hindi and English and the paper has to be solved within the duration of 4.5 hours. The types of questions are Objective type and includes three sections which are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There will be total 300 questions carrying maximum marks i.e. 1200. Each correct solution will fetch +4 marks, -1 deduction for every incorrect question and no deduction for not answering.

Result
After the participants appear for the entrance examination, the official authorities of the Bihar Board will announce the result in the portal through the authorized website. Individuals can easily download their score card and chosen applicants can view their date, time, and venue of further counseling sessions. Furthermore, preserve a duplicate copy of the scorecard for future use.
Counselling
All the picked candidates are required to appear for the counseling round in order to get admission in various paramedical courses offered in the institutions of Bihar state. It is the last round of the admission process followed by the verification of documents seat allocation. In the procedure of document verification, candidates will have to get their original documents verified by the official authority and eligible candidates will be allotted seats for the institute. Shortlisted individuals will then be asked to make their choice filling of institutes and course in this round after which they will be given a seat according to their choices and the availability of seats.
