Gujarat GNM 2024: Admission in General Nursing and Midwifery in the state of Gujarat is usually done on the basis of the entrance examination. Basically, this examination takes place all over the state of Gujarat. The entrance examination conducting body is Gujarat Nursing Council. Applicants who have passed the examination of grade XII with General Stream, Science stream with subjects such as Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Candidates of the general category candidates should obtain the minimum qualifying marks are 40% (including Physically Handicapped) and 35% for the candidates of the reserved category (including Physically Disabled)

The admission process of General Nursing and Midwifery in the state of Gujarat comprises filling out the application form, uploading the documents as per prescriptions, verification of documents, counseling, and payment of fees. The general guidelines to fill out the  application form are given hereby:

One has to input all the basic specifications for instance Candidate’s Name, Phone Number, Email Address, DOB, Gender, etc. Mobile number and verification of email address will be done via OTP. Within a few seconds, candidates can log in using their unique user ID and password and completely fill out the basic application form. The payment of the application fee will take place in online method through UPI/ net banking/ credit or debit card.

After the payment of the fee, candidates have to upload their scanned copies of recent passport-size photographs and their signature according to the specifications given in the brochure. Later on, they will be asked to enter the basic academic details and information regarding the candidature such as permanent/ correspondence address, domicile certificate, category, etc. At last, aspirants will have to get themselves a print copy of the duly filled application form and save the same for the counseling session.

Application Fee

Merit List

The official admission committee will be responsible to design the merit list for the candidates. It will be released separately for both male and female applicants. The officials will upload the same on the official website of the university for the reference of the contenders.

Counseling / Personal Interview round

Authorities of the GNM Admission will hold the personal interview or counseling round for the applicants who want to get admission to the university. However, it will completely depend on the selection list. Chosen applicants must be present in person for the counseling round. Those who are participating in the counseling round must not forget to carry all original and attested copies of the important documents along with them.
