• A candidate should possess a B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing degree from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized institute or Post Basic B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Post-certificate).
• A candidate should have completed Nursing from an State Nursing Council/ Indian Nursing Council Institute.
• Individual must be registered as Nurse and Midwife in State/ Indian Nursing council. OR
• A diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an State Nursing Council/ Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/ Council/ Board is required.
• One must be registered as Nurse and Midwife in Indian/ State Nursing council.
• Moreover, two years experience in a minimum 50 – of bedded hospital after obtaining the educational qualification mentioned above.
• Aspirant should be Indian citizen.
• The Tibetan refugee who have migrated to India before 1st January, 1962 will be eligible to apply for JIPMER Nursing Officer Recruitment 2023.
• Indian origin persons from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Uganda, Myanmar, and the United Republic of Tanzania who has now settled permanently in India are eligible too.
• Candidate up to the age of 35 years will be eligible for the recruitment.
