Eligibility Criteria

Here is all the important information regarding the eligibility criteria for LBS and Nursing Paramedical Admission 2023:

An individual should possess a certification of passing from the Higher Secondary examination led by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or an equivalent examination as approved by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Along with this, it is also necessary to have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English altogether. Moreover, an aspirant of Kerala origin will be classified as a ‘Keralite’. Non-Keralites Children of All India Service (AIS) officers assigned to the Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’ according to the Government of India. However, the aspirants won’t be eligible for Special/ Communal/ Persons with Disabilities reservations.

An aspirant who doesn’t belong to the origin of Kerala but, satisfies any one of the following conditions will be classified as ‘Non-Keralite Category I'(NK I). Those individuals who have undergone a qualifying course in the state of Kerala and who are the ward of Non-Keralite parents belong to the Defence Services/ Government of India posted to the state of Kerala. Aspirants who belong to the origin of Kerala however, an individual has been a tenant of Kerala State for five years within the 12 years of his/ her study. Those who do not belong to Kerala origin however who have done studies from school in Kerala state from 8th to 12th class.
Contenders of the Non-Keralite Category will be categorized against the seats of ‘State Merit’ seats. However, they won’t be entitled to Special/ Communal/ Persons with Infirmities reservation or any fee business. And, those contenders who are not ‘Keralite’ or ‘Non-Keralite Class I’ will be classified as ‘Non-Keralite Category II’. Such candidates won’t be entitled to Special/ Communal/ Persons with Disabilities reservations or any fee concern.

LBS and Nursing Paramedical 2023 Application Form

Log in to the authorized web browser of the university and collect the Application Form through the download button and brochure from the web portal. After that the candidates check the prospectus, then they can start the application form-filling procedure. While providing information in the application form, aspirants have to fill in some essential particulars in the form such as personal data, educational details, program regarding information, communication and parent’s/ guardian details, and more details. Apart from this, entrants should upload scanned images of his/ her passport-sized photograph and signature in the quantified format and size mentioned in the prospectus of the university.
