Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the paramedical course, the eligibility criteria depend on the country and university you are applying to. Given below are some of the major and basic standard requirements that most universities ask for.
- To pursue a Bachelor’s program, a candidate must have passed class 12th, preferably in the Science stream with an admissible score.
- For a Master’s degree, an applicant must possess a good score in his/ her Bachelor’s program.
- For studying abroad, you must hold a Statement Of Purpose (SOP), a score of TOEFL/ IELTS, etc.

Those aspirants who have passed their examination of class 12th in biology are eligible for admission in Paramedical. Those candidates who are seeking entry to diploma programs need a class 10th passing certificate. The minimum percentage requirement will vary according to the paramedical college that offers diploma courses. Some of the programs require the aspirants to possess specific educational qualifications. For admission in government colleges such as All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, the aspirants will have to clear their intermediate with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English with 55% marks. Many universities have their own entrance tests for admission. National-level Paramedical Entrance Exams are NEET- PG, AIIMS paramedical exam, SAAT, AJEE, and IGNOU OPENMAT.
