Eligibility Criteria

Candidates age of 17 plus years and below the age of 35 years at the time of admission are only eligible to take part in this admission process. One should pass the 12th board exams from a recognized educational board or university, however, they should have studied Physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subjects in the HSC exams. The aspirants must score not less than 40% marks in the qualifying exam i.e. intermediate exams. Furthermore, contenders will only be eligible for admission in the course only if they are registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council.

Punjab GNM 2024 Application Form

Appliers will fill the application form within the online mode as distributed on the official website of the respective university. To begin with they have to register and create an id to get access to the application form after logging in to the portal. Hit the registration tab provided on the homepage on the university’s website. During the registration, they need to provide basic info such as name, contact number, email ID, etc. All the details must be true and also enter email Id and phone number. After registering successfully, applicants have to access the form and provide their personal, educational, communicational, parents, course-related details in the application form as it is asked there. Aspirants must read all the important guidelines carefully which will appear on the brochure before beginning the application form filling. After that, move to upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the provided prescriptions. Submit the form and preserve its hard copy for more uses.

Application Fee

After the filling process, applicants need to make payment of the application fee via Demand Draft. The application fee details will be given on the portal of the university. General category candidates should pay Rs 400/-, on the other hand fee for reserved category is Rs 200/-. The only fee payment method is offline through the demand draft. Appliers have to submit the demand draft (DD) drawn and make it in favor of the Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, or Principal, School of Nursing, C.H. Jalandhar.
At last, submit the form through offline method along with the DD of the application fee and attested documents and certifications to the School of Nursing, S.B.L.S. Civil Hospital, Jalandhar.

Punjab GNM 2024 Counselling

Nominated candidates will have to participate for the counselling session that will be commenced by the officials. It will completely depend on the merit list released by the authorities Punjab General Nursing and Midwifery. After its release, the higher officials will call the candidates to appear for counselling rounds in person. They have to carry all their original and attested copies of the essential documents during counselling. The particulars about the counselling fee can be obtained by the applicants from the university itself. The mode of counselling fee payment is offline too therefore candidates need to pay it via DD (Demand Draft) only.
