Eligibility Criteria
The PPMET eligibility criteria will decide whether the applicants will be entitled to appear in the exam and/or get admission in the desired course or not. Aspirants possessing a pass certificate of class 10th & 12th examination from the school of Chandigarh or Punjab region for being eligible for the entrance examination. Those who clear the 10+12 or equivalent from a recognized university/ board can appear for the entrance exam too.
It is obligatory for each and every applier to pass the 12th examination with physics, chemistry, and biology/ biotechnology with an aggregate of 45% marks & (40% marks for candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST) from any recognized board of education. The age of the applier should be at least 17 years on or before the 31st of December of the admission year. Furthermore, one must note that the shortlisting of the aspirants will be made to any institution only on the premises of merit and in a transparent manner following the Punjab Government rules and regulations.
