WB GNM/ANM 2024: Important Dates

WBJEE GNM/ANM 2024 Application Form

Here on the official site, wbjeeb.nic.in, applicants may view and submit the application. The application form may only be submitted online. Application for WB GNM/ANM enrollment in 2024 may be made online using the URL provided above.

• An Internet-connected PC or laptop.
• JPG or JPEG copy of a passport picture. A JPG or JPEG image of your signature.
• A working e-mail address is required since all contact is done through email; the parents’ e-mail address is preferred.
• Mobile phone number, since all information is given by text message as well. The phone number of the parents is acceptable.
• UPI or PAYTM services are required for electronic payments; a legitimate credit/ debit card and Net Banking access are often required.
• In the absence of a printer, one may save copies, move them to a storage device, and have the prints printed at a cyber café.
• Simply download the Announcement Brochure and closely examine the material in it as you’ll be aware of all of the criteria for completing the form.

Process of completing the Online Registration Form:

• Applicants need to sign up for the online application process. A username and password are set up for use.
• Application forms and parts must be filled out by students.
• Scanned images of the student’s picture, sign, and left thumbprint are required documents.
• Credit Card/Debit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking/PAYTM are the only acceptable methods of payment.

WB GNM/ANM: Eligibility Requirements

The following section is a list of the requirements that must be met in order to be considered for enrollment. All candidates must meet the qualifying requirements, which are based on the previous year’s performance. The following sections detail the criteria for each course.

(GNM) General Nursing and Midwifery

• Applicants must be aged 17 to 27 as of December 31 of the year in which they are applying.
• The person has to be a Citizen of India and a legal resident of West Bengal for at least five years prior to the date of submission of the application.
• Proficiency in Bengali or Nepali: Applicants should be fluent in Bengali or Nepali.
• Applicants should have completed the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education’s Higher Secondary (10+2) test, as well as the West Bengal State Council of Vocational and Technical Education and Skill Development vocational agrarian examination and the state’s vocational health care scientific exam. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 40% overall percentage in English proficiency.

(ANM) Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery

• Aspirants have to be women to be eligible for consideration.
• Age Restrictions: Applicants must be 17-30 years of age as of the year of admission.
• Citizen Status: The candidate has to be a member of the Panchayat Raj region of West Bengal’s relevant region for at least five years prior to the time of the submission of the application and be a Citizen of India.
• Proficiency in Bengali or Nepali: Applicants should be fluent in Bengali or Nepali.
• Applicants should have completed the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education’s Higher Secondary (10+2) test, as well as the West Bengal State Council of Vocational and Technical Education and Skill Development vocational agrarian examination and the state’s vocational health care scientific exam. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 40% overall percentage in English proficiency.

Required Documents

Applicants are suggested to provide two sets of photocopies of their original papers, one set of which must be self-certified and the other set must be verified by a Group-A officer. The following is a list of papers required for authentication.

1. High school transcript (10+2)
2. The tenth-grade report card or the certificate serves as proof of age.
3. Certificate of Residency.
4. Certificate of Caste in the case of applicants from SC, OBC A, ST, and B categories.
5. In the case of female Civil Defense Volunteers, a Civil Defense Certificate is required.
6. If appropriate, placement in an orphanage or needy care (for a minimum of five years) (for just female aspirants).
7. The PWD certificate, if relevant, should be provided.
8. If appropriate, an EWS Certificate.

WB GNM/ANM 2024: Important Instructions

Aspirants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the WB ANM / GNM Entrance Exam guidelines that must be observed at testing locations.

• 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination is the reporting time to enter the testing centers.
• Admission to any other center than the one specified on the student’s admission card is strictly prohibited.
• Applicants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam.
• Aspirants are not permitted to enter the test venue after the specified starting time of the test under any circumstances.
• Other printed or written information, calculators, pens, docu-pen or log table, wristwatch,es or any mobile phone are prohibited from entering the examination room.
• Question booklets would be supplied prior to the start of the exam. Without tearing up the Question Booklet, take out your OMR sheet and verify that your OMR number and Question Booklet Number match up. If this is the case, request that the invigilator substitute the entire set with another one from the same series.
• Question booklets need applicants to sign their names at the top.
• You may use the OMR to write in your question booklet and roll number. If an applicant makes an error, he/she should not go overboard with the corrections. Ask that the invigilator erase the incorrect figures and replace them with his/her signature on the form.
• Darken bubbles in the question booklet and roll numbers as necessary.
• In the proper spots on the OMR, add your full name in Block Capitals, the name of the center, and a signature. The OMR may be rejected if there are any stray markings anyplace else.
• Examine the attendance sheet to ensure that the information on your admission card corresponds to the information on your attendance sheet.

WBJEE GNM/ANM Admission Process

The admissions process is based solely on the results of the common entrance test. Thereafter, West Bengal GNM/ANM schools would perform seat allocation counseling. On such a page, you can see the timetable for seat allocation. Only one course may be taken by an applicant who has been provisionally accepted into both the ANM and GNM training programs.

WB GNM/ANM 2024: Admit Card

West Bengal ANM/GNM Entry Exam admit cards will be released by the WBJEE. On the wbjeeb.nic.in the website, it has been made available for download. Applicants must input their registration number and date of birth/password in order to access their admit card.

To access the WB ANM /GNM testing centers, applicants must have the following papers with them.

• Take a picture of your admission card and print it out.
• When submitting your application, please include a color picture of yourself.
• Pan Card, Aadhaar Card, Original Photo Identity Card, Passport, 10th Standard Admit Card, Voter Card, School ID card, etc.
