The post of Pharmacist at AIIMS is all about assessing and carrying out the doctor’s prescriptions and evaluating their specifications. They are required to manage the pharmacy at the institute, and keeping an eye on incoming orders, and identify orders of medicinal products and other ingredients. All these duties are important for different medicinal procedures and surgeries.  The job of an AIIMS Pharmacist would be on a contractual basis. Aspirants will be able to apply online for the position. The eligibility norms for the position of Pharmacist Grade I and Pharmacist Grade II along with their age limit is given in the section hereby:

Pharmacist Grade I:

• Educational Qualifications: A Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution is required to be eligible.
• Required Qualifications: A candidate must possess experience in dispensing and storage of drugs in a well-known hospital or drugstore.

Pharmacist Grade II:

• Educational Qualifications: A candidate must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution of education.
• Required Qualifications. They must be having experience in dispensing and storage of drugs in a respected hospital or drugstore.

Age limit:

According to the official notification by AIIMS, the candidate must fall in the age group of 18-45 years for the general category, OBC category- 3 years and SC, ST category gets a 5-year age relaxation available for the recruitment 2023.
