CHO Benefits and Allowances
According to the official notification, a CHO will get the following kinds of benefits during training:
- National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh basically provide transportation cost for practicum and support for the course fee, etc. (one time only).
- The stipend during the training period is inclusive of lodging and boarding allowances.
- Upon the successful completion of training, CHO will be eligible for various kinds of allowances which will be based on the provisions of the Government of India.

- Community Health Officers are considered foot soldiers of NHM, they basically act as community health workers. They lead and guide the Community Health volunteers.
