One has to pass the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Examination (12th) from the recognized Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent board from the science background from any college in the state of Maharashtra and attain an aggregate of 40% minimum marks. Additionally, every candidate needs to be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state. At least candidates should be the age of 17 to 35 years while applying for admission. At last, the candidates should have pursued ANM course.

Admission to General Nursing and Midwifery diploma program is usually determined on the basis of the merit and an entrance examination. The INC is in charge of directing the admission procedure for the degree program, and it is overseen by the Health and Welfare Ministry of the Government of India, including state health departments, in collaboration with the State Nursing Councils.
