HPSSC Staff Nurse Vacancy 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) will release the eligibility criteria for the position of Staff Nurse along with a detailed notification on their official website. The candidates who fail to meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the authorities of HPSSC. Below we have laid down the details of the eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The age of the candidates should be between 18 – 45 years as of 01.01.2023.
- Candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit. It will be applicable to only candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes, Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh/ Persons with disabilities.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates who have passed 12th with Science background from a recognized Board of School Education are eligible to apply for the re4cuitment process.
- Apart from this, aspirants should have also qualified Diploma in GNM (“A‟ Grade Nurse) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.

Selection Process
The Selection Criteria for HPSSSB Staff Nurse is a very easy one and furthermore, there will be no commencement of the interview round where one has to prepare separately. The selection process involves only two phases:
Phase 1: Competitive Written Examination of 85 marks. It includes three different sections.
