SGPGIMS B.Sc Nursing 2024: Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the reputed institute which is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and was formed in the year 1983. It was established under State Legislature Act. The same is recognized by the UGC and approved by the MCI (Medical Council of India). According to the NIRF, this medical sciences institute secured 7th rank in the top medical institute category. A total of 22 courses is offered in various disciplines for instance DM, MD, Ph.D., M.Ch, and PDCC. Eligibility Criteria
For academic qualification, candidates have to possess a senior school certificate examination (12th), Pre-Degree Examination (12th), or distance schooling for 12 years from a well-known board or university with Science as a mandatory stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with more than 50% aggregate percentage (in 4 subjects as mentioned above) for the entrants of general category and 45% for reserved candidates. Make sure you fall in the age group of 17 years to 24 years, as on 31st December of the year of admission. Only candidates who are unmarried are qualified, regardless of their gender. The entrants need to be somatically fit. All candidates whose name appears on the merit list will have to produce a diploma of physical fitness from the Medical Board of the Institute. However, the selection criteria or admission process etc. can be changed from time to time according to INC’s notification.
SGPGIMS B.Sc Nursing 2024 Application Form
The application form for the BSc Nursing course will be delivered via online mode in the fourth week of May 2023. Each and every candidate has to make sure to submit the application form before the end of second week of June 2023 (tentatively). In order to download the online application form, we suggest the candidates to access the authorized website of the university and download the form along with the prospectus from there. Only after checking the instructions mentioned in the brochure aspirants will have to start filling up the Application Form.
While filing the form, provide some basic necessary details in it such as personal detail, educational details, programme-related details, communication and parent details, and further details. Moreover, upload your scanned images of photographs and signatures in the provided size and format mentioned on the official portal of the university. Also, generate a print of the form when it is filled completely.
Application Fee
Making application fee is also a very important part of the application procedure consequently candidates will be informed to make the payment of the application fee before the due date. All the mandatory information related to the application fee will be given on the official portal of the university by the officials of the university. After the payment, applicants applicants are informed to get a copy of the payment validation receipt which will be generated by the system. Payment methods will be Net Banking, Debit /Credit card. All category candidates should make a payment of Rs 1000 + Bank transaction charges as per last year.

The Placement cell of SGPGIMS Lucknow guarantees 100% placement opportunities for its students of every course. As per the the NIRF report 2023, a total of 109 Post graduate students were placed during the placement drive in 2022. Students receive with hospital training and medical internships to improve and enhance their skills. Several internships are offered during the academic program. Students are provided with various aptitude tests, mock interviews in their final year to prepare well for placements. Postgraduate level students are appointed as junior residents at the institute and students of DM/ M.Ch are appointed as senior residents during the course. The highest and lowest median package offered is INR 26.5 LPA and INR 16 LPA respectively.
