Telangana GNM 2024: Admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery program in the state of Telangana will be regulated according to the schedule released on the portal of conducting body which is the Directorate of Medical Education, Telangana. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria conditions are as under:

Aspirants who have passed the intermediate or HSC exams from some recognized board of education and university of the state of Telangana. If you wish to seek entry to the General Nursing and Midwifery course, then you should pass the Nursing Course from some recognized nursing institution. General category candidates who have achieved a minimum of 40% marks within the intermediate tests or qualifying tests can apply too. However, the minimum mark set for reserved category candidates is 35% marks.  As per the admission guidelines, it is necessary for the aspirants to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with English in their intermediate exams.

Candidates passing the examination in the Humanities (Mathematics, Economics, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Accountancy, Sociology, Home Science, Philosophy) and English Core/ English elective or Vocational stream Healthcare Science are eligible. 16 years is the minimum age and 35 years is the maximum age for both general and reserved category applicants. However, reserved category entrants will be eligible for the maximum age limit i.e. 38 years as a part of the reservation in age limit.

The official authorities will issue the online application forms for the aspirants and they have to make sure to meet the complete eligibility criteria. After that, they should carefully go through all the important guidelines regarding the process of admission. After doing this, then aspirants need to fill out the application form. However, prior to starting the application form process, candidates have to make the application fee payment. After paying the fee you can fill up the information in the application form and at last take out its print and submit the same.

As the application fee payment is a vital process of the application procedure, all category applicants have to follow this step. In this step, each and every candidate has to make a payment of Rs. 200/- for the admission procedure. The payment will be done in an offline manner only. Official authorities of admission will not accept any other payment mode for the application fee. The payment can be made with the assistance of a challan. They will be able to deposit the application fee through a government challan which must be drawn at the State Bank of India at respective places or State Bank of Hyderabad.

Later on, with the assistance of the admission procedure, entitled aspirants will be granted admission to the desired course. If admission is provided within the course, it’s important that the contenders fill and defer to the form and also update their details with the help of the authorized website for the university itself.

The list is going to be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the contenders within the past qualifying academic tests. Consequently, candidates will be entitled to admission as per their performance in the past qualifying exams.
