West Bengal Paramedical 2023: State Medical Faculty of West Bengal (SMFWB), Kolkata will soon publish the instructions and procedure along with the admission schedule on their authorized portal. The admission for the paramedical courses will be carried out in various government and non-government institutions. On the basis of the entrance examination, the candidates will be admitted to the top institutions offering medical courses. The examination will be held through the OMR method and the hall ticket for the same will also be issued online i.e. www.smfwb.in. Those qualifying for the test will be called to participate in the counseling.

Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants of Indian citizenship are eligible for admission and the age of the candidate should be 17 years, whereas there is no upper age limit. Candidates who clear Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examinations recognized by any Indian University with qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology separately in order to apply for the exam. The Board of the Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the concerned state government or central government.
West Bengal Paramedical 2023 Application Process
The SMFWB will release the paramedical application form online mode only. For the entrance exam, individuals have to register themselves at the official portal of the conducting body i.e. SMFWB. Aspirants will be asked to enter their valid mobile number or unique mail id as all the particulars will be received from and sent via the candidate’s registered mobile number and mail id. Once all the details such as the applier’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth is filled and submitted, then the aspirants will not be able to modify the particulars under normal circumstances.
Details given in the form should match with the candidate’s academic documents and certificates. We suggest the appliers to submit only one application form only as multiple applications will be refused by the official authorities. Furthermore, candidates have to sync their scanned image of a recent color passport-size photograph and signature in the specified formats. Individuals must obtain a hard copy of the duly filled copy of the form for additional use.
Application Fee
Candidates will make the payment of the application fee in cashless mode via Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card or offline mode through cash using the e- challan of State Bank of India.

Exam Pattern
- The exam will be held via OMR based and there will be Multiple Choice Questions on the paper. In the paper, there will be two sections: Section – A (Physics & Chemistry), and Section -B (Biology)
- Categorization of Questions: Section – A (Physics & Chemistry) – 50, Section -B (Biology) – 50
- Number of Questions: 100 in total
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for every correct solution and there is no negative marking.

Result
To check the online SMFWB paramedical entrance examination outcome, candidates have to visit the official portal. It will be available in the rank card form. To download the rank card, contenders should go to the official portal and use their application number and password (generated while registering). An individual merit list comprising the names of the passed candidate will also be released. Those who clear the entrance test with good scores will then have to appear for the counseling process.
