Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• A candidate should clear the HSC examination or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board to avail of admission.
• Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology along with English as compulsory subjects in the HSC examination.
• The aspirant should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in HSC examinations if they belong to the general category candidates and those who are from a reserved category should attain more than 35% marks in the HSC examination.

Age Criteria:

• The age of the candidate should be 17 years at the time of admission as one must be till 31 December 2024 to get admission.
• Applicants of the general category should not be more than 34 years in the case of women, they should be less than 28 years in the case of admission of men.
• The reserved category candidates must not exceed 39 years in the case of women and 33 years for males to get admission.
• Candidates applying from the departmental quota should be less than 40 years of age in the case of women and 35 years of age to get admission for male candidates.

• Official authorities of the university will enroll the eligible candidates within the institution only on the premises of the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
• In order to provide admission to the candidates, the official authorities of the admission will set up a merit list of the candidates.
• Official authorities of the university will then update the merit list of the aspirants on the authorized web page of the university itself.
• And based on the merit list, candidates will be eligible to appear for the counseling round in person and acquire the final admission.
• However, it must be noted that the official authorities will provide admission to the candidates within the ratio of 80: 20 in government and private nursing colleges for women and men.
